Curriculum
You won’t find a program like Spanish Circle Chicago’s anywhere else. WE develop and publish our own materials under the name Linguicon, and have (with the help of our students) named our method the Visuo-intuitive Approach. You will find that you use class time more effectively and strategically than in traditional grammar’centered Spanish classes or immersion language classes. In a Spanish class here in Chicago, you will develop the grammar you need more effectively,k effeciently and intuitively by speaking Spanish, not by listening to drawn-out explanations, note-taking and written translation excercises.

Our Conversational Spanish Foundations program is divided into 10 quarter-long (12-week) courses. Our quarters are staggered, so we have conversational Spanish classes starting every month.

In the first course, you will start developing a solid, intuitive foundation that will help you maximize your ultimate potential. You will also learn effective vocabulary, structures and strategies to communicate basic needs in several everyday settings. Students who are regularly exposed Spanish notice a significant increase in the Spanish they can understand. Those who travel also notice a significant improvement in their ability to use a phrasebook effectively. I fyou hope to have a good number of useful strategies to communicate basic needs effectively in a variety of settings, you should plan to take a minimum of 2 to 3 conversational Spanish classes.
